In western astrology, there are 12 star signs, each possessing distinct personality traits and characteristics. These 12 zodiac signs are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces – and they are split into four groups of elements: Fire, Earth, Air and Water.
Fire signs are known to be, well, fiery, while water and air signs can be cold or moody, with one described as capable of being a “huge backstabber”, according to an astrologer. Even earth signs can be unpredictable with one in particular being “totally dissaproving” at times. Of all 12 zodiac signs, six are most likely to be “hated” by their peers, with one standing out as “most hated”, according to an astrologer, so is yours amongst them?

Astrologer Susan Taylor at Astro Fame explained the “most hated” star sign: “Geminis have a reputation for being prickly, manipulative, and unfaithful.
“Among the 12 signs of the zodiac, some have a particularly bad reputation, so much so that they seem to cumulate bad character traits.
“When it comes to being the least popular sign, the first prize is incontestably awarded to… Gemini.”
According to the astrologer, the reason Gemini is so disliked is due to their “turbulent personality” as other signs never know what they’re going to get.
The astrologer added: “This air sign personality is simply so unpredictable that folks regularly find themselves walking on eggshells around Gemini natives.
“Their unstable character and constant mood swings mean that Geminis are regularly hard to be around and make for truly unreliable friends.”
The astrology expert suggested that in times of need, individuals should avoid Gemini and seek out Cancer people instead.
However, Gemini isn’t the only “hated” zodiac sign – the astrologer claimed people aren’t particularly fond of Virgo either.

According to the astrologer, Virgo is recognised for their “icy personality” and “condescending behaviour”, which is why others might struggle to be around them.
People seldom turn to Virgo during times of crisis or celebration because they “come across as totally disapproving of just about everything”.
Virgo does not intend to be malicious and it is merely a defence mechanism for this reserved sign who struggles to let people in. Nevertheless, this makes being friends with them “nigh on impossible”, she said.
Next up is Leo, who drives other signs mad by “overdoing it” every time.
Desperate to be the centre of attention, “they are often seen as unbearable and overly competitive”.
They are even labelled “fake”, meaning that most of the time others do not trust them fully. Many will keep Leo at arm’s length.

Aries’ “fiery personality” can be blamed for frightening other signs away, as they are prone to an “explosive rage” when angry, the astrologer claimed.
People are afraid to get too close to Aries because they are “certainly unpredictable and could explode like a volcano at any given moment”.
Scorpios are also a “hated” sign because of their “razor-sharp tongue” – when angry, they can be particularly cutting with their words.
While they are praised for being “straight-talkers”, Scorpios have the habit of taking things a little too far, sometimes lacking sensitivity.
Finally, Libra has a “dark side” which can cause others to distrust them.
However, they often get away with their hidden agendas because of their “smiley exterior”.
According to astrology, Libra can be a “huge backstabber”, capable of “anything” they set their minds to.
