Pete Hegseth’s purge of top military brass has infuriated one of MAGA’s most ardent devotees.
Newsmax host Greg Kelly, 57, brutally needled the self-anointed secretary of war, 45, over the abrupt ouster of the Army’s highest-ranking uniformed officer and two other senior leaders amid the war with Iran.
Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell announced on Thursday that Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George would retire after decades of service, following a CBS News report that Hegseth wanted to replace him with someone more aligned with the administration.
