Three years on from their last studio album Hackney Diamonds and The Rolling Stones are back with their latest.
Earlier this month, The Rolling Stones released a vinyl-only single for the new record, Rough and Twisted, under their historic alias The Cockroaches, with only 1,000 copies pressed.
A preview of the track on Instagram is captioned “64 & Counting” referencing the band’s 64 years together so far. If that wasn’t enough, billboards and posters have been popping up all around the world with the same phrase all in different languages, alongside the band’s iconic tongue logo. It translates as Foreign Tongues, which presumably is the name of their 25th studio album.
The Fanbase files has since tweeted: “The Rolling Stones have just confirmed that their new studio album will be called Foreign Tongues. The album arrives on 10/7/26.” Hopefully, this means Rough and Twisted will be available to stream in early July, ahead of Foreign Tongues on July 10, 2026.
