What Take That fans can expect from The Circus Tour 2026 | Music | Entertainment

In just a few weeks’ time, Take That will embark on their extensive 2026 tour – but this is one fans will already know a little about. The band, made up of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald, will be bringing The Circus Tour to stadiums and arenas this year. The Circus tour will see the trio bring trapeze artists, elephant facades, red and white stripes, spinning balls, batons, diabolos and much more to thrill their fans.

If this is all sounding a little familiar, that is because the band previously went on The Circus Tour back in 2009. And it became one of their biggest and most successful tours of Take That’s entire career. The 20-show event took them around the country with some of the aforementioned guises, props and even a full-size hot air balloon, and their Wembley Stadium shows were even filmed for a live performance DVD.

Take That: The Circus Live DVD was filmed during the July 3 and 4, 2009 shows at Wembley Stadium, and showed off the spectacle in full HD.

The DVD was so popular that it became the fastest-selling DVD of all time in the UK, selling 82,414 copies in 24 hours.

It eventually sold more than 600,000 copies in September 2011, and was certified 11x Platinum, marking it as one of the best-selling music DVDs in the UK ever.

The Circus Live is still Take That’s biggest tour to date. It was attended by more than 1 million people and earned a profit of around a staggering £40,560,000.

What’s more, the show was, at the time, the fastest-selling tour in UK history, with 600,000 tickets selling out in five hours for the original eight dates.

So then, it is no wonder why the band have decided to revisit their most spectacular event once more, 17 years later.

And for fans keen to find out what to expect from the tour – or to reminisce about their time there in 2009 – we’ve displayed a collection of photos from the original Circus Tour throughout this article.

After that, we’ve detailed every way fans can buy tickets to the exciting upcoming Circus Tour 2026 ahead of it kicking off in May.

Here are the details.

Take That tickets are still available now from a number of online retailers. This short list includes both official sellers as well as resale markets such as viagogo and StubHub.

These latter two websites give fans the chance to buy and sell tickets at the drop of a hat, with an added focus on giving fans the opportunity to pick their specific seat or standing location at their concert of choice.

And, at the time of writing, some Take That tickets on viagogo are being sold for around £67 each. That’s about the same price as face value.

What’s more, official retailer Seat Unique still has tickets on sale. These official VIP and hospitality tickets can be purchased for around £250 each now; all of which come with added bonuses and perks. These might include early access to the show, food and drinks packages, after-party access, or more.
