After a long weekend relaxing, supermarkets will be ready to welcome customers back for a new week as the Easter bank holiday ends. Supermarkets across the UK have shared their operating hours for branches across the country.
Many of the supermarkets closed their larger stores on Easter Sunday, but shoppers can expect these to reopen on Monday, April 6. So if you’re in need of some last-minute bank holiday supplies or need to do your grocery shop, supermarkets will be ready to welcome you back. Find out the opening hours for the various supermarkets across the UK below.

Aldi
After being closed on Easter Sunday, Aldi will reopen on Easter Monday. The supermarket will be operating between 8am and 8pm, and until 10pm in Scotland.
Customers are advised to check local store hours online for any variations over the weekend.
ASDA
For the majority of Asda’s larger stores, operating hours will be from 8am to 10pm on Monday, April 6. However, customers are reminded that operating hours do vary across the country.

All of Asda’s petrol stations have a pay at the pump service, so will be open throughout the Easter period for customers to fill up.
Lidl
Lidl confirmed that opening times on Easter Monday will vary across the country, so customers should check their local store’s opening hours via the online store finder or through the Lidl Plus app.
M&S
M&S confirmed stores will be open on Easter Monday. Typically, the stores are open from 8am to 8pm.
Customers are advised to check M&S’s store locator page to check for operating hours at their local store.
Morrisons
Morrisons explained that its stores in England and Wales will be operating between 7am and 8pm. Stores in Scotland will be open their usual operating hours.

Sainsbury’s
On Easter bank holiday Monday, the vast majority of Sainsbury’s supermarkets will be open between 8am to 8pm. Its convenience stores will be open as usual from 7am to 11pm.

Tesco
The majority of Tesco’s large stores across England, Wales and Isle of Man will be open from 8am to 6pm on Easter Monday. The majority of Tesco’s large Northern Ireland stores will be open from 8am to 8pm.
All large stores in Scotland will be trading their usual hours. The majority of Tesco’s large Express stores will be open from 8am to 6pm, while there are no changes for standard Express stores.

Waitrose
Waitrose confirmed that its stores will be open on Easter Monday, with some branches operating on reduced hours. The supermarket advises customers to check the times of individual shops using the branch finder page on its website.
